Overview
This article explains how to access, manage, and act on alerts within the REG Network.
You’ll learn how to:
- Access your Alerts page
- Filter, sort, and extract alert data
- Create and manage tasks linked to alerts
- Acknowledge alerts and navigate related connection information
Accessing Alerts
To view alerts:
- Log into the REG Network.
- Navigate to the Main Menu, select Monitoring, then click Alerts.
Your Alerts page will now be displayed, showing all alerts relevant to your account.
Filtering & Sorting Alerts
Alerts can be filtered and sorted to help you manage them efficiently:
Filter: Use the keyword search or click the filter icon to open the slider with available filter options.
Sort: Click the down-arrow on any column heading to see sorting options. Available columns include:
- Message
- Task
- Changed member
- External ID
- Category
- Type
- Priority
- Created
- Status
- Acknowledged by
- Acknowledged on
- Tags
Hover over a table row to reveal the more options icon for additional actions.
Managing Alerts & Tasks
From the more options icon, you can:
Create a task for an alert: Opens a pop-up where you can set a due date and assign the task. After creation, a task ID appears in the TASK column.
Edit tasks: Click any task link in the TASK column to navigate to the connection’s Edit task page. Here you can:
- Amend the task title
- Reassign the task
- Set or update due dates
- Change the status
- Add or remove tags
- Add comments or attach documents to the task discussion
When attaching a document and adding a mandatory comment, the task updates automatically and displays attached files in the Attached documents section. Click the edit icon to access additional document type features (see the separate tutorial on document types for details).
Acknowledging Alerts
- Return to the Alerts page.
- Click the more options icon
and select Acknowledge to mark an alert as acknowledged.
- The STATUS column will update accordingly.
- If needed, you can revert the status back to Pending by selecting Pending.
Navigating to Connection Alerts
Clicking any link in the CHANGED MEMBER column will take you to that connection’s Alerts page, where all alerts related to that connection can be reviewed.
