Overview
We have introduced REG Verified to help customers make better decisions when onboarding new partners. These include REG Verified, the Onboarding Module, and additional data enhancements within company profiles.
These features are designed to support the early stages of the onboarding journey with new agencies, brokers, or third parties. They provide quick insights into a company’s status before you begin formally working with them and allow you to manage the onboarding process in one place.
This guide explains what these features are, how they help customers, and how to use them within the REG Network.
REG Verified
REG Verified helps you quickly assess whether a business meets a set of minimum checks before you begin working with them.
Many customers previously hesitated to add a company to the Network at the very start of their onboarding process, especially if the business might not pass internal checks. REG Verified helps address this by providing a simple, early indication of whether a company meets certain thresholds.
A company is marked as REG Verified when it meets the following criteria:
Credit Score Check
The company has a credit score above 41, placing it in the moderate or low risk category based on data provided by Creditsafe.Active Company Check
The business is listed as active with Companies House (or the equivalent authority), meaning it is not dissolved, in liquidation, or otherwise inactive.Sanctions Screening
Directors and associated individuals have no sanctions recorded.Existing in the REG Database
The company must already exist within the REG Network database.
When these checks are met, a verification badge will appear across different areas of the system.
Verification Badges Explained
There are four badge variations you may see throughout the Network:
Verified & Registered
A blue shield with a tick indicates the business meets all verification checks and is registered on the REG Network.Verified (Not Registered)
A blue shield without a tick indicates the company meets the verification checks but is not registered on the Network.Registered Only
A green circle with a tick indicates the company is registered on the Network, but does not currently meet the verification criteria. Not Verified & Not Registered
A grey circle indicates the business is neither verified nor registered. This could be due to a low credit score, inactive company status, or sanctions screening results.
These badges appear in areas such as Active Connections and Search Results, allowing you to quickly identify the status of businesses.
Using Verified Status in Search
REG Verified badges are particularly useful when searching for companies to add to the Network.
When you search for a company using Add Connection, the verification badge appears directly in the results list. This allows you to quickly determine whether a business meets the minimum checks before adding them as a connection.
For UK companies, additional regulatory information is also displayed in search results, including whether the firm is authorised by the FCA.
This means you can often complete several initial checks before adding a company to your network.
