Overview
This article explains how to start a Risk Assessment using a template within Risk 365.
When starting an assessment, you’ll select the appropriate template, complete any required manual fields, and review system-generated data. Once all fields are scored, the system calculates the overall assessment score based on your selected scoring method.

Starting a Risk Assessment (From Risk 365)
To start a new risk assessment from the Risk 365 menu:
- Log into the REG Network
- Open the main menu and click on Risk 365 and then on New assessment.
- Choose a template to use for the risk assessment.
- Select the scheduling, either a One time assessment or Continuous assessment
- Select a Review date
- Choose the connection(s) you would like to assess.
- Click the Start assessment (
) button to start the risk assessment.

Starting a Risk Assessment (From an Individual Connection)
You can also initiate a risk assessment directly from a connection’s profile:
- Log into the REG Network
- Open the main menu and click on My Network and then on Active connections.
- Click on the connection card of a connection you want to assess. You will be navigated to their Connection Details Summary page.
- Click the Monitoring option on the menu and then on Risk 365.
- Click the New risk assessment (
) button
- Choose a template to use for the risk assessment.
- Select the scheduling, either a One time assessment or Continuous assessment
- Click the Start with template (
) button
- Complete any pending fields
- Select a Review date
- Click the Submit (
) button to save the risk assessment.

Important
The overall assessment score is automatically calculated once all fields are scored, based on the scoring method configured in your selected template.
Ensure all required fields are completed before submitting the assessment.
