Overview
This article explains how to view, create, and manage notes within the REG Network.
You’ll learn how to:
Access notes from different areas of the platform
Create and manage notes
Filter and sort notes
View note details and related connections
Accessing Notes
You can access notes in two ways:
From the Main Menu, select My work > All notes to view all notes across your network.
Navigate to My Network > Active connections, select a connection, then Tools choose Notes to view notes associated with that connection.
You will be taken to the relevant Notes page.
Working with Notes
From the Notes page, you can:
Add a new note (available from the Connection details Notes page only)
Filter notes to refine results
Sort notes
View note details
Navigate to the associated connection (from All notes only)
Adding a New Note
To create a new note:
Click + NEW NOTE in the action bar.
You will be taken to the New note page.
Complete the following fields:
Title (mandatory)
Tags (optional)
Comment (mandatory)
File upload (optional)
Click Save. A confirmation message will display:
“Note created with success.”
You will then be redirected to the Note detail page.
Viewing & Editing Note Details
On the Note detail page, you can view and manage:
Member name – the company the note is associated with
Note ID – a unique system-generated reference
Title – which can be amended
Tags – add or remove using + ADD NEW TAG and SAVE
Existing comments and attached documents
Use COMMENT / ADD DOCS to add additional mandatory comments and optional documents.
When a document is attached and saved, it appears in the Attached documents section. The document type button can be used to apply document types. For more information, see the Document types tutorial.
Filtering Notes
Notes can be filtered in two ways:
Enter keywords into the search field
Click the Filter icon
to open the filter slider on the right-hand side of the page
The slider displays available filters. For more detail, see Filtering explained.
Sorting Notes
Notes can be sorted using the Sort icon next to the column headers.
The Notes table includes the following sortable columns:
Title
ID
Member name
Created on
Created by
Updated on
Updated by
Tags
Connection tags
Has documents

Navigating to Related Connections
From My work > All notes, if the Member name column is populated, selecting it will redirect you to the Connection details summary page.
Selecting Notes from the connection menu displays all notes associated with that connection.
