Definition:
Onboarding on the REG Network refers to the process of adding and managing new agencies or firms that you’re considering for a business relationship. It’s designed to support your early-stage due diligence without incurring monitoring charges or creating an active connection.
Through the onboarding feature, you can:
- Search for and add companies you're reviewing
- View their verification status (e.g. FCA regulated or not)
- Track them in an onboarding status list
- Add internal notes, contacts, and documents
- If you have Exchanges Pro, you can also send documents, ToBAs, and agency applications
Why We Use the Term "Onboarding":
We use the term Onboarding to reflect that this is a pre-engagement phase, where you’re assessing a company before formalising a connection. It allows you to carry out initial checks and prepare for a relationship—without activating billing or continuous monitoring—giving you flexibility and control over your pipeline of potential partners.
