Overview
This article explains how to send a new Exchange via the Network. Sending Exchanges (ToBAs) through the Network provides your recipients with immediate access and keeps a secure record of all sent documents.
You’ll learn how to:
- Access Document Exchange
- Select recipients
- Attach a template
- Send the Exchange successfully
Sending a Document Exchange
To send a ToBA, start by opening the main menu by selecting the menu bar (three horizontal lines in the top-left corner of the page).
From here:
- Select Exchanges
- Choose New exchange
Select Recipients
Within the Recipients section:
- Search by name and/or click and scroll to select the required connection(s) from the list below.
- Use the available filters to group and refine connections by connection type, registered status, country, tags, or address.
- Add individually, or use the
check box to select all filtered recipients. Once completed press
to confrim selection.
Only the selected connections will receive the Exchange, so ensure the correct recipients are chosen before continuing.
Add a Message & Send
In the Message section:
- Enter a clear Subject *
Add your Message content *
Attach the ToBA Template
In the Template Attachments section:
- Select the required ToBA template(s) to attach to the exchange
You can attach one or more templates, depending on what needs to be shared.
Once complete, select to proceed to the next step.
Confirm exchange
In the Confirm exchange section:
- You will see a summary of the Exchange that is going to be sent, including the selected Recipients, Message, Templates and any Additional documents.
You then have the option whether to:

What Happens Next?
If you've selected to send the Exchange, it will be delivered to the selected recipients via the Network and tracked within Exchanges > Sent and the selected connection(s) details page with Tools > Sent exchanges . You can refer to the exchange at any time for status and audit purposes.
